My name is Pascale Tessier and I am a native French speaker, born in France. I run Top French Class. I graduated from the University of Paris with a Master’s degree in Education and I have been teaching for more than 20 years in settings including one-on-one tuition, online, and in the classroom. I have experience teaching at all levels from elementary school to university, using a palette of techniques leading to easy assimilation of the language by the student.

How do I register for lessons?
You can register
• by phone or text by calling 702-336-3535, or
• e-mail me at pascale@topfrenchclass.com, so that I can answer all your questions and schedule your first classes.
How long are the classes?
You can book single lessons from 30 minutes long or buy packages of 4 or 8 hours. Use these packages to book times across multiple weeks to make sure we fit into your schedule.
Here are some examples, to help you decide:
• 4-hour package: private or semi-private or 3-6 participants
• 8-hour package built the same way and save 10%
• a custom package to suit you
What are my options in a custom package?
• the length of your class: 30 minutes; 45 minutes; 60 minutes; 90 minutes; two hours
• how often you take your class and the scheduled day and time for each week
• where the class will be held: preferably online or at my studio but also at your home, (by paying an additional traveling fee)
• another location that suits you and those studying with you (again, with an additional traveling fee if the class is in person)
You can even form your own group to get a discount.
How do online classes work?
If you choose to take an online class, I will send you a link to connect to my virtual class and we will be able to communicate and share screens. A fast and reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a microphone are the minimum requirements but I strongly encourage you to add on a webcam and headphones to enhance the audio quality and prevent interference.
But classes can also be held in person if you are not computer savvy.
How do your programs work?
You can sign up whenever you want. After an interview and an assessment, a personalized plan will be discussed with you.
Which curriculum does TFC follow?
Top French Class follows the proficiency levels developed by the American Council of Teachers of Foreign Languages and the Common European Framework of Reference For Languages and the official French curriculum of Education Nationale.
Can I make up a lesson if I miss my class?
Top French Class is flexible. You can cancel and reschedule your classes easily. We just need a 24 h cancellation notice prior to your scheduled class, to avoid a $25 cancellation fee.
